Allan Mitchener Memorial Tournament – 3rd May 2025
ðŸ“ Salisbury FC Ground

The inaugural Allan Mitchener Memorial Tournament was held on Saturday, 3rd May 2025 at the Salisbury FC ground. This special event marked the beginning of what will now become an annual tournament in honour of Allan Mitchener, who devoted 36 years as a committee member and was instrumental in organising cup competitions within the league.

The tournament took place under glorious sunshine, with 16 teams taking part and competing for four prestigious trophies:
ðŸ† The Harvester Cup
ðŸ† The Spitfire Plate
ðŸ† The Gemini Vase
ðŸ† The Dolphin Bowl

Allan’s family were proudly in attendance, including his wife, sons, and extended family, and his sons had the honour of presenting the trophies to both the winners and runners-up.

Every boy and girl who participated received a special commemorative medal, ensuring they all left with a memory of the day and Allan’s legacy.

It was a truly heartwarming day of football, friendship, and celebration.
